The chairman's meeting with the Kuwaiti delegation

The Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, Mr. Omar Al-Hosri, met with a delegation from Al-Roudan & Al-Mutawa Holding Company from Kuwait and Limak from Turkey. The delegation presented an initial plan to expand and develop Deir Ezzor International Airport, aiming to boost its operational efficiency and increase its capacity to handle expected growth in air traffic. The delegation included Mr. Khaled Al-Roudan, head of the delegation, and Mr. Hakan Ozturk, a board member of Limak Investment and Airports Company. Also attending the meeting from the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport were the Deputy Chairs, Mr. Abdul Bari Al-Saj and Mr. Amjad Nakhal, along with several other officials. The two sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation in expanding and developing Deir Ezzor International Airport according to the latest global standards, which would enhance the airport's operational efficiency, improve the level of services offered, and meet the growing demands in the aviation sector.
